Liners for packaging
Solid factory has started production of the items for packaging made of extruded foam polystyrene and flexible composite tape – composite liners for packaging.
The items are customizable. We are able to manufacture slip sheets from 2 to 9 mm thick and with dimensions of 3000*1000 mm. Such range of dimensions allows to choose the optimum thickness of the packaging according to the individual characteristics of the items, storage conditions and transportation.
Foam polystyrene possesses not only sound absorption, heat-insulating properties but good damping characteristics as well, thanks to which it is widely used in the packaging industry.
The main purpose of the slip sheets is to ensure the integrity of the items, i.e. to safe the items from deformation, destruction and damage.
Composite packaging film is by far the best material for packaging and protection the items from the impact, weather effects and damage. It protects the item from the vibration, friction, has high mechanical integrity, resistance to damage and break, and is not sensitive to the temperature drops.
The excellent protective properties of the packaging film are due to its structure, thanks to which the quality of the packaging film is superior to that of other packaging materials.
Experience shows that the application of the liners of extruded foam polystyrene significantly reduces the losses resulted from the product damage during transportation.
When transporting fragile goods, it is not only the outer box that is important for protecting the goods from mechanical damage, dust, moisture, and other threats. A special liner in the box ensures additional internal protection facilitating preservation of the ready-for-sale condition of the transported goods. Such, at first sight, an insignificant packaging component may be of use in a number of cases: Improvement of the strength of the corrugated box is an additional measure to avoid the deformation of a cardboard item.
Prevention of movement of the items inside the box – an individual packaging for each fragile item should be provided, and the presence of the liner shall additionally protect the items from damage.
